Animatics are fast becoming more popular in the film making process. Once a sequence is sketched out in a storyboard format, it is then scanned and edited in a time-line on a computer, where it can be viewed in motion. The computer simulates camera movements on the set of storyboards which adds a sense of motion. When an Animatic sequence is completed, the viewer is now able to sense the flow of the action/scene more clearly. This is another directing tool that enables Director's to visualize their ideas in real-time.
